Perform service repairs in the field. Focusing primarily on field campaigns, service bulletins, product improvement programs and scheduled maintenance on Ag equipment. This position will cover Altorfer's Central Illinois ag territory. 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our generator field service organization as a Power Systems Service Estimator. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to develop quotes to achieve optimum profit levels on repair jobs related to commercial engines, including marine, industrial, and generator sets. You will provide quick and professional responses to customer inquiries, update CRM software, and ensure leads are promptly communicated to the appropriate sales rep. Additionally, you will research technical aspects of repair jobs, assist with the sale of Extended Warranty Agreements, and maintain accurate records for sales-related activities and engine service data.

Job Summary: Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs in the field, on customer owned or Altorfer rental lift trucks/forklifts/material handlers, Caterpillar, and other allied type construction equipment.

The Service Manager is accountable for all aspects of the Service Department and plays a vital role in the overall success of Altorfer in the territory. The Service Manager must possess a deep knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and repair, the skills necessary to ensure efficient shop operations and a continuous improvement mindset.

Perform service and repairs on Caterpillar and other types of heavy equipment.

The Rental Sales Rep will take ownership of a customer base and/or territory and be responsible for driving all revenues and customer growth, while doing so in a manner that exemplifies Altorfer's Core Values.  We are a 70 year old company with a strong presence in our market.  Rental Sales Rep position reports to the Sales Manager.

Part Time/ Temp Warehouse Specialist working with back orders, inventory counts, Occasional local travel may be required to deliver parts to customers, and parts returns. Additional responsibilities: shipping/receiving, hose assembly, inventory storage, and order picking activities for the Parts Department. Part-Time/Temp position needed Spring 2026 (April) through Fall 2026 (August)

Perform in field repairs on Agriculture equipment. This position covers the agricultural market in the following East Central Illinois territory. Counties include, but not limited to: of DeWitt, McLean, Piatt, Champaign, Ford, and Vermillion county.   

The Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Functional Lead owns the functional design, configuration, and delivery of the Dynamics 365 CE platform during a multi‑program implementation and ongoing operations. This role serves as the single functional owner across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and related CE workloads, ensuring a consistent data model, user experience, security posture, and release approach. The CE Functional Lead acts as the product owner for CE—bridging business strategy and technical delivery—while partnering with the D365 Architect, Power Platform team, and business domain leaders. Outside sales selling Fendt RoGator, TerraGator, and Caterpillar products to Retail Fertilizer and Ag customers in Western Illinois. Will cover the following counties: Menard, Sangamon, Montgomery, Bond, Madison, Macoupin, Morgan, Cass, Schuyler, Brown, Pike, Scott, Greene, Jersey, Adams, Calhoun, and Christian County.  

Shop supervisor is accountable for the efficiency and discipline of all shop technicians assigned to him/her. He/she must possess a deep knowledge of construction equipment repair processes and have excellent organizational skills. Customer relations, time management and customer satisfaction are also key critical ingredients of the job.
