The scope of this position is to perform service repairs to include components and other general repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance; providing superior service and representing Altorfer’s professional image.

Perform in the field service repairs on construction equipment. This position covers the construction market in the following Missouri territory. Counties include, but not limited to: Randolph, Macon, Adair, Monroe, and Shelby county.

       The Store Coordinator is accountable for all aspects of the branch and plays a vital role in the overall success of the Altorfer Rental Store. The Store Coordinator should possess knowledge of construction equipment rentals, the skills to ensure efficient shop operations and a continuous improvement mindset.

Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs in the field, on customer owned or Altorfer rental lift trucks/forklifts, Caterpillar, and other allied type construction equipment. Location areas to be serviced are: Cedar Rapids, IA., Cedar Falls, IA. and Dubuque, IA.

This position is responsible for selling and renting new and used heavy construction equipment. This is a 100% commission position and is perfect for the self motivated outside sales professional. Position covers the following Illinois territory: Counties include: McLean and Livingston.

Seeking an egar and self-motivated outside sales representative to join our heavy construction equipment sales team! This representative will be responsible for covering the following Iowa counties: Black Hawk, Buchanan, Tama, and Benton. This outgoing individual will handle new and used equipment sales and rentals. Responsible for new business development while maintaining current customer accounts.  

The purpose of the Shop Helper is to contribute to the overall efficiency of the shop by completing semi-skilled and unskilled tasks, enabling Journeyman Technicians to dedicate their time to tasks requiring highly-skilled and technical expertise.

Prepare, inspect, and clean all customer equipment and equipment returning from rentals.  

Perform repairs on all brands of rental equipment as well as some customer owned equipment. Skilled technician and familiar with multiple brands such as CAT, Genie, Skyjack, Hybrid, JLG, Wacker, Polaris, Miller, and Sullair.

The role of a Shop Technician is that of a technically knowledgeable person who can work independently and within a team to repair all makes and styles of equipment
