Altorfer Industries is currently seeking a CNC Machinist in our new facility located in Mokena, IL. This position operates machine tools such as CNC machines, lathes, secondary equipment, and grinders to machine components related to, but not limited to engines, cylinder heads, transmissions and other heavy machinery components.

The primary function of the Project Manager is to coordinate all associated personnel, tasks and materials to ensure the successful delivery and start-up of an associated engine sale. Project Managers are required to manage several projects simultaneously during various stages of completion. Effective time management and strong organizational skills are essential for success. Close interaction with Sales team, vendors, engineers and customers is required to fully understand and manage each project in its entirety.

Perform service and repairs in the shop on Caterpillar and other types of heavy equipment.

Perform in field repairs on Agriculture equipment. This position covers the agricultural market in the following Eastern Illinois territory. Counties include, but not limited to: of Northern Clark, Edgar, and Southern Vermilion county.   

The position of IT Network Engineer is responsible for the ongoing wired and wireless network operations management to provide 24x7 support.   The ideal candidate will have deep experience of networking technologies, such as routing, switching and security; managing heterogeneous environment & generate metrics related to Network performance, capacity, availability, failure rates, and will also have a strong background in network performance management, service delivery and strategic operations planning with a strong technical orientation & creative in problem solving.

The primary function of the Electrical Engineering Supervisor is to oversee the daily operation of the electrical project engineering group. The hired candidate will be required to manage several projects simultaneously during various stages of completion. This position will also help the production team with troubleshooting and programing issues in our test cell and provide product support to our customers. Effective time management and strong organizational skills are essential for success. Close interaction with Sales team, vendors, engineers, and customers is required to fully understand and manage each project in its entirety.

Provide unparalleled technical support, installation services and training to SITECH Midway customers.  SITECH Midway is the Trimble heavy civil construction dealer for Eastern Iowa, Northeast Missouri, Northern and Central Illinois including the Chicago Metropolitan area, and Lake and Porter counties in Northwest Indiana.

POSTION SUMMARY: The Service Manager is accountable for all aspects of the Service Department and plays a vital role in the overall success of Altorfer in the territory. The Service Manager must possess a deep knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and repair, the skills necessary to ensure efficient shop operations and a continuous improvement mindset.

We are looking for an experienced mechanic to perform service and repairs on construction equipment in the field for Altorfer’s customers in the Davenport Area.
