Field supervisor is accountable for the dispatch, efficiency and discipline of all field technicians assigned to them. This position is responsible for selling and renting new and used heavy construction equipment. This is a 100% commission position and is perfect for the self motivated outside sales professional. Position covers the following Illinois territory: Counties include: Edgar, Douglas, Coles, Moultrie, Shelby, Cumberland, and Clark.

Your primary responsibility is to present optimal maintenance and repair solutions offered by Power Systems. Drive the achievement of lower operating costs for users by recommending suitable service options and upgrades. Cultivate and nurture strong customer relationships to address immediate service needs and secure long-term maintenance agreements. Uphold the highest customer service standards, aiming to enhance sales volume and ensure unparalleled customer satisfaction. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation, and proficiency in sales and communication.

Maintain and grow parts and service sales within assigned territory.

Altorfer Rents Sales Academy   Time Frame approx.18-24 months   Position Goal Working under the guidance of the Rental Sales Manager the employee will train & learn all aspects of the rental business via rotational assignments, including counter sales, outside sales, service department, yard maintenance, parts counter, etc. with the goal of developing into a Sales Representative position. Altorfer will provide the appropriate resources to ensure the employee can develop into a sales position, and in return, the employee will demonstrate a commitment to his/her future by seizing every learning opportunity made available.  

Perform service repairs in the field. Focusing primarily on field campaigns, service bulletins, product improvement programs and Gold Star maintenance on Ag equipment. This position will cover Altorfer's Central Illinois ag territory.

This position operates machine tools such as CNC machines, lathes, secondary equipment, and grinders to machine components related to, but not limited to engines, cylinder heads, transmissions and other heavy machinery components.
