This position is responsible for the financial and operating performance of the store along with driving parts/service revenue in the store’s trading area. The purpose of this position is to provide operational and sales support for the development of rental for the Cat® Rental Store. As Dealers start and grow their rental businesses, they will face different sets of challenges, which will require different types of support. The role of the Rental Coordinator is to develop an understanding of the support needs of the customer for the Cat Rental Store and initiate plans to address those needs. Altorfer Ag Products has partnered with Parkland College to establish the AGCO Service Technician program, a 2-year program for entry-level agricultural equipment service technicians. The purpose of this program is to train technicians to service AGCO and other products and obtain full-time employment after graduating the program. Altorfer sponsors certain students to attend the program and upon completing the program student will earn an Associate in Applied Science degree.
Seeking individuals working in mechanical industries such as automobile, aviation, locomotive, truck or military mechanic applications to develop their skills for them to work in the heavy equipment industry. This program is designed to fast track individuals with previous mechanical experience in becoming an Altorfer Technician. This program provides ten different hands-on training classes. Individuals will attend training at the Altorfer Training Facility in East Peoria, IL, one week per month for 10 months.
