The overall function of a Product Support Solutions Representative is to focus on growing and sustaining Parts and Service sales. This job is an outside sales position that requires a significant amount of driving.
Shop supervisor is accountable for the efficiency and discipline of all shop technicians assigned to him/her. He/she must possess a deep knowledge of construction equipment repair processes and have excellent organizational skills. Customer relations, time management and customer satisfaction are also key critical ingredients of the job.
Perform in the field service repairs on agricultural equipment. This position covers the agricultural market in the following Western Illinois territory. Counties included, but not limited to: McDonough, Hancock, Schuyler, and Adams county.
Seeking individuals working in mechanical industries such as automobile, aviation, locomotive, truck or military mechanic applications to develop their skills for them to work in the heavy equipment industry. This program is designed to fast track individuals with previous mechanical experience in becoming an Altorfer Technician. This program provides ten different hands-on training classes. Individuals will attend training at the Altorfer Training Facility in East Peoria, IL, one week per month for 10 months.
Perform in the field service repairs on agricultural equipment. This position covers the agricultural market in the following Southern Iowa. Southern IA counties include, but not limited to: Wapello, Washington, Keokuk and Iowa.
Perform service and repairs on heavy construction equipment in the field for Altorfer’s Illinois customers. Counties include but not limited to: McLean, Tazwell, and Woodford county.
Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs in the field, on customer owned or Altorfer rental lift trucks/forklifts, Caterpillar, and other allied type construction equipment.
