As a Project Engineer I, you’ll develop both mechanical and electrical/controls skills while learning to create AutoCAD drawings and contribute to system-level designs. You'll work closely with experienced engineers to support layouts, wiring diagrams, and component selection—gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning. Education & Experience
o B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field preferred.
o Equivalent technical degree (A.A.S. or military training) plus relevant experience will be considered.
o Entry-level to 3 years of engineering, drafting, or hands-on experience with generator systems, electrical controls, or mechanical systems.
o Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
Technical Expertise
o Familiarity with generator sets, mechanical systems, or electrical distribution/control is preferred.
o Exposure to AutoCAD for 2D drafting is required; 3D modeling (e.g., Inventor or SolidWorks) is a plus.
o Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical components such as relays, motors, heat exchangers, or enclosures.
o Willingness to learn NFPA, UL, NEC, and ISO standards as part of professional development.
Other Requirements
o Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no more than two minor violations in the last three years and no major violations in the last five years).
o Occasional travel to job sites, production facilities, or training events may be required.
o Ability to work in a fast paced environment and willing to work some Saturdays when needed

Payrate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
This position works in an office environment. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 20lbs. Will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields, hearing protection, etc.) for a given situation. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional travel may be required.
