Altorfer Power, a leading Caterpillar dealer specializing in the sales and service of engines, generator sets, and associated equipment, is seeking a dynamic candidate for the position of XQ Project Manager. The XQ Project Manager is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency through the coordination of Altorfer’s Packaging Team and Commercial Service Team. This role involves reviewing potential XQ Rental Packages and Generator Sets to ensure program compatibility, coordinating with outside machine shops, service shops, and generator refurbishment shops, tracking units and components, driving process improvements, and handling invoicing responsibilities. The Project Manager will work directly with the General Manager of Packaging and the General Manager of Product Support to ensure a smooth workflow and that project performance expectations are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and software knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Payrate: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
This position works primarily in an office environment but also frequently in a warehouse or shop environment. The role may involve sitting at a desk for extended periods, answering telephone calls, and using a keyboard to communicate. The noise level in the shop environment is usually moderate, while it is typically low in the office. Flexibility to work varying schedules and hours as needed is essential. Occasional travel may be required. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
