Monday - Friday 7A - 4P, could have on-call and weekend work to support business projects.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong technical expertise and essential soft skills to effectively implement, manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure.

Basic Duties

Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud solutions, including Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking.

· Develop and maintain cloud architecture to ensure scalability, security, and performance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices and streamline deployment processes.

· Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell and Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

· Manage infrastructure using ARM templates and Terraform, ensuring consistency and reliability.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services and infrastructure.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Hard Skills:

· Azure Services: Proficiency in managing Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking.

· Cloud Architecture: Expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions.

· DevOps Practices: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

· Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for automation.

· Infrastructure Management: Knowledge of ARM templates and Terraform for infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

 

· 2-4 year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.

· Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices.

· Experience with Azure services and cloud architecture preferred.

· Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools preferred.

· Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python preferred.

· Experience with infrastructure management tools like ARM templates and Terraform preferred.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

This position will primarily works in an office environment, there will be times when you are required to go out into the service and warehouse area to work on computers. May, on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs. and wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields). The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
