Prepare, inspect, and clean inside and outside of all new and used farm equipment.

• Load and unload equipment, stage equipment with Altorfer Ag Products lot, light repair, maintenance and pre-delivery of machinery.
• Track all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard.
• Scan all equipment during delivery and return processes as well as maintaining associated paperwork.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the yard, making sure it’s a safe environment at all times for employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned

• Basic knowledge of farm equipment required.
• Must be able to operate and control the pressure washing equipment.
• Ag machinery operation experience preferred.
• Previous mechanical and electrical experience preferred.
• Basic forklift experience is required.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and complete duties in a safe, fast paced manner.
• Basic computer skills are need especially with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, and Outlook.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

This position will work in a Shop environment the majority of the time with some outside work, exposed to elements of weather, paint and chemicals. This position requires a lot of climbing in, out, on and around machines with heights up to 15’ high. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 50lbs. The wearing of approved safety equipment (i.e. steel toe footwear) is required. Noise level in the shop/warehouse may range from moderate to high. Must be flexible during peak season working overtime as needed. Occasional local travel may be required.
