Expand Altorfer Lift Truck/Rents presence in assigned territory, providing product support to customers and increase product support revenue. Promote Altorfer’s products by demonstrating that Altorfer Lift/Rental is a viable solution provider.
Increase PM agreements between Altorfer Lift Truck and customers in assigned territory.
Increase parts and service sales opportunities in assigned territory.
Prepare, present and follow-up on parts and service quots for customers.
Schedule follow-up visits with customers who purchase new / used equipment from Altorfer Lift Truck / Altorfer Rents.
Responsible for completeing 30, 60 and 90-day post-delivery visits.
Establish a systematic visit schedule targeting 50 visits per week (10 per day)
Create warranty certificates to present to the customer and discuss signing them up for the electronic parts ordering program.
Acquire customer information to build a comprehensive data base to include machine lists, customer contacts, influencers, and Parts and Service purchasers - all information to reside in CRM
Promote current Parts and Service marketing and sales programs
Develop and maintain partnerships with internal customers (Service, Parts, and Sales)
Maintain a working relationship with equipment sales representatives in assigned territory to form a strong customer support team.
Maintain daily call reports on CRM
May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.
Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 2 years sales experience.
Must be able to effectively use, implement, and train customers on all lift truck/rental equipment.
Computer literacy required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
This position will require a good portion of time traveling to customer jobsite. estimated 20% spent in an office environment, 80% traveling between customer locations and job sites.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
